My name is Riffat Jabeen, and I am passionate about creating a nurturing and educational environment for children. Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, I grew up in a large, loving family where caring for others was second nature. As the middle child of five, I quickly learned the joys and responsibilities of looking after younger family members. In our culture, family bonds are strong, and children are always surrounded by love and care—something I’ve carried with me throughout my life.
My journey as a caregiver began when I was old enough to take care of my cousins and the babies in our extended family. This experience instilled in me a deep love for children and a desire to help them grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and loving environment. When I moved to the United States in 2002, I brought these values and my passion for working with children with me.
In 1994, I married my husband, Shahid, and together we have two wonderful children, Mahad and Muneeba. Our family moved to Virginia, where I realized that my true calling was to continue working with children. That’s when I decided to open my home daycare.
As a daycare provider, I am dedicated to offering a warm and welcoming space where every child is treated as part of our family. I believe in the importance of early childhood education and strive to create activities that are not only fun but also foster learning and development. My goal is to ensure that each child in my care feels loved, safe, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
Running a home daycare allows me to combine my love for children with the opportunity to make a positive impact on their early years. It is a joy to watch them grow, learn new things, and build friendships. I am grateful for the trust parents place in me to care for their little ones, and I am committed to providing the best possible experience for every child.
